THE STORY

This is a washed A grade coffee comprised of harvests from multiple small plantations on the Kuta Ridge in the Waghi Valley of PNG’s Western Highlands. Growing altitude is around 1585 masl and milling takes place at the Kuta Coffee Mill. Operating alongside a collaboration between traditional rivals, the Ulga and Kolga tribes, Kuta Mill pays bonuses to farmers who deliver quality, ripe cherries for processing.

It has been a minute since we sourced coffee from PNG, and we are happy to have this one. In the cup we taste brown sugar, mango, tropical fruit, with pleasant tartness and good balance. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we do.
